Homeschool Valentine’s Party

We all had SUCH a blast at our Homeschool Valentine’s party this week!  Our kids loved celebrating together and all of us moms had such a great time, also!  Jenny and I would like to give a BIG thank you to all the incredible moms who participated with their fantastic, creative children!

Having a big, fun party with other homeschoolers for holidays has been a dream of mine for a long time with homeschooling my kiddos.  Having grown up in the public school system, I lived for the class parties.  They were the best part of the year!  Jenny’s kids are recently removed from public school and they agreed: they miss class parties (& recess) the most!

We had so many fun, festive activities for the children.  There were adorable Valentine cards to color.

The older boys got to work right away on cutting out cool, intricate Valentine snowflakes.

There were fun Valentine games to play, as well as the opportunity to simply play with toys.

The girls had a fun time putting together Valentine sucker flowers.

All of the kids got the chance to frost and decorate Valentine sugar cookies.  YUM!

All in all, it was a SUCH a blast and made the Valentine holiday really special for us and our children.

How did your homeschool family celebrate Valentine’s this year?  Have you ever done a homeschool Valentine party?  What things did you do?  We’d love to hear your ideas and what worked for you!

p.s. Don’t miss our next Homeschool Chic event on Thursday, February 23rd for parents.  It’s going to be an incredible night that you won’t want to miss!  Whether you’re a homeschool parent or are interested in learning more, you’ll receive so much value from attending!
